Welcome to the Eagle River Chain Website. Our beautiful chain of ten lakes and connecting waterways is located in the scenic Northwoods of Wisconsin. Whether it’s fishing, boating, waterskiing, swimming, or just relaxing by the lake, our property owners and visitors alike enjoy every minute they spend on our waters.
In 2001 a group of dedicated volunteers formed the Eagle River Chain of Lakes Association with its primary function to maintain, protect, and improve the quality of the lakes and their surroundings. We function as an umbrella organization coordinating activities of the individual lake associations and linking those activities to the Unified Lower Eagle River Chain of Lakes Commission.
ERCLA provides education to property owners regarding issues important to the Eagle River Chain waterways. We work closely with the individual lake associations and the Commission to secure funding for the management of Aquatic Invasive Species. We also advocate on behalf of the 1,700 Chain property owners.
Funding of ERCLA’s operation, activities, events and projects comes exclusively from membership dues and donations. Get Involved! All activities and actions of ERCLA are volunteer driven. We encourage anyone with a passion for protecting our beautiful lakes to contact us. Your involvement in our efforts will be very welcome!
You can become a member, volunteer, read our Bylaws, learn more about the Commission, or view a fish chart that provides greater detail about the role each organization plays in our management efforts.
